Christmas lottery

Today is an eagerly anticipated day for millions of people in Spain. It's the day of  the "Lotería de Navidad" (Christmas lottery).

The Spanish Christmas lottery is a traditional draw that marks the beginning of the festive season. A large number of  Spaniards spend a significant amount of money on this lottery hoping to have the best possible Christmas. Every ticket costs 20€ (not cheap!) but you can win as much as 400,000€.

Despite the price, many people are willing to spend over 100€ on this lottery. Well, it can't hurt once a year! Personally, I'm not very interested in the Christmas lottery as it is painfully obvious that the odds of winning some decent money are very much against me. I usually buy a single ticket or share it with another person.

Anyway, here's wishing everyone all the luck in the world for today.
